Marietta crews keeping eye on potential street flooding

MARIETTA, Pa. (WHTM) – Crews in Marietta early this morning were paying extra attention to storm drains ahead of this steady rainfall.

That’s why despite the steady rain combined with the warm temperatures, there are little flooding concerns.

Glenn Orr, the borough’s roadmaster, told ABC 27 News they’ll continue to monitor the storm drains to make sure everything is alright.

“Just making sure they flow and everything is flowing into the drains they should be,” Orr said. “We had some spots where it was jammed up a little bit this morning, which we opened up.”
