LANCASTER, Pa. (WHTM) – A teenager who helped to save a 5-year-old girl from her abductor more than two years ago turned himself in Friday night.
Temar S. Boggs, 18, is wanted for the robbery of the El Coqui Market in the 600 block of North Plum Street on Dec. 17, police said.
Police Sgt. Bill Hickey told ABC27 News their suspect is the same Tamar Boggs who, as a 15-year-old, helped a girl get away from her kidnapper in July 2013.
Investigators believe Boggs fled Lancaster before they identified him as the gunman in the robbery.
He’s charged with first-degree felony counts of robbery and criminal conspiracy to commit robbery.
A co-defendant, 16-year-old Lamel Yelverton, is charged as an adult. He is in the Lancaster County Prison on $75,000 bail.
