Coroner IDs woman killed on I-81

CARLISLE, Pa. (WHTM) – A woman who was fatally struck Thursday night on Interstate 81 ran into the path of a northbound tractor-trailer, the Cumberland County coroner said.

Coroner Charley Hall on Friday identified the woman as 24-year-old Tobin Ann Bryan of Mount Holly Springs.

Hall said it is unknown at this time why Bryan she ran into the truck’s path. He said the accident remains under investigation by state police.

The accident at 10:30 p.m. closed the northbound lanes near the Middlesex exit.
