HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHTM) – Harrisburg police say they arrested five people for hiding a man wanted for the city’s first homicide.

The arrest happened Wednesday during a probation visit at a home in the 400 block of 13th Street.

Officers said they could smell a marijuana odor and proceeded to search the home. That’s when they found two males hiding in a third-floor closet.

One of the males was identified as Nasheem Greenslade, who police have sought for the shooting death of Andre Parker in January.

Greenslade was taken into police custody and charged with first-degree murder.

Police charged those inside the home with hindering apprehension:

  • Tobias Bowman, 22
  • Dayshawn Lee, 23
  • Brinelle Stanely, 18
  • Lavasha Ware, 23
  • 17-year-old male not photographed
