NFL names 8 Steelers, 22 Hall of Famers to Golden Team

NEW YORK (WHTM) – The National Football League announced the members of its Golden Team as part of Super Bowl 50 festivities.

Eight Pittsburgh Steelers and 22 Pro Football Hall of Famers are on the team.

Mel Blount, “Mean” Joe Greene, Jack Ham, Franco Harris, Jack Lambert, Lynn Swann, Mike Webster, and Chuck Noll were named to the team.

The Steelers were the most represented franchise on the Golden Team.

The team was picked by the Pro Football Hall of Fame Board of Selectors to celebrate the best overall career performances in the Super Bowl.
