Pedestrian seriously injured in Lancaster hit-and run, suspect sought

LANCASTER, Pa. (WHTM) – Police are searching for the driver who struck a 49-year-old pedestrian Tuesday evening along Lincoln Highway East in East Lampeter Township.

According to a news release, a red SUV vehicle hit the man and then continued traveling eastbound.

The incident caused another crash involving two vehicles.

The pedestrian was transported to Lancaster General Hospital with serious injuries.

No injuries were reported in the second incident.
