2 accused of stealing guns from Waynesboro Wal-Mart

HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHTM) – A federal grand jury has indicted two people accused of stealing guns from the Wal-Mart in Waynesboro.

Rodney Robinson and Amber Crummitt, both of Boonsboro, Maryland, are charged with conspiracy to steal firearms, theft of firearms, transportation of stolen firearms across state lines, possessing and disposing of stolen firearms, and possession of firearms by felons.

Robinson on Oct. 22 forced open a gun case, removed five rifles, and fled in a car driven by Crummitt, U.S. Attorney Peter Smith said. When the pair returned five days later, Robinson again forced open the case and removed a rifle and a shotgun, but he fled without the guns when an alarm activated.

Robinson was already in custody on unrelated charges.
