Man arrested for Carlisle bank robbery

CARLISLE, Pa. (WHTM) – Police have arrested a suspect in the robbery of a Carlisle bank on Sunday afternoon.

Jerry A. Laughman, 45, no fixed address, is accused of robbing the Metro Bank in the first block of Ashland Avenue, police said in a news release Monday.

Authorities said Laughman admitted to the robbery and was charged with robbery and theft. He was placed in Cumberland County Prison on $75,000 cash bail.
