MILLERSVILLE, Pa. (WHTM) – Police say an out-of-state college student has been charged in a string of robberies at an apartment complex near Millersville University.

Reports of robberies at the Brookwood Court Apartments came in on New Year’s Day and over the course of a few days.

Clay reportedly went door-to-door and entered five unlocked apartments, taking cash, wallets, and other valuables.

Police say there students were inside the apartment at the time of the burglary and at least two spoke to Clay.

Cash, wallets, and other valuables from five apartments had been reportedly stolen.

A surveillance camera outside the complex helped police identify Clay’s vehicle.

Clay was released on $25,000 bail.

Police say Clay was home for the holiday break.
