HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHTM) – Susquehanna Township police say a 23-year-old man became violent and attacked multiple officers just as they attempted to arrest him Wednesday night in the 100 block of Millers Lane.
According to a news release, Abdoul Nachar Allave-Traore, of Harrisburg, caused one officer to sprain his thumb and bit and kicked a second officer on the leg. He also reportedly struck a third officer in the head with a police car door.
Officers were at the scene responding to a report of an active dispute. There they located a victim who had been allegedly assaulted by Traore.
Traore has been charged with three counts of aggravated assault, resisting arrest, simple assault, disorderly conduct, public drunkenness and criminal mischief.
Two other individuals, present at the time of the incident, were also charged.
Police charged Mohamed Barrie, 22, of State College, with resisting arrest, disorderly conduct, simple assault, and criminal mischief. Klevist Pepja, 22, was not involved in the altercation, but has been charged with possession of marijuana.
