HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHTM) – It’s the moment Pennsylvanians have waited for since last year’s reveal.
We’re referring to the 1,000 lbs of butter molded into a sculpture. A sculpture that PA Agriculture Secretary Russell Redding says signifies the true beginning of the Farm Show.
The theme for this 100th year of the Pennsylvania Farm Show is “Our Commonwealth’s Blue Ribbon Experience.”
We’re told the sculpture took two people 14 days to create.
The Pennsylvania Farm Show runs January 9-15 from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. and January 16 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Admission is free and parking is $15.
