ATLANTA (WHTM) – Chick-Fil-A says the new year is a good time for new, healthy menu items.
The fast food restaurant is putting kale and broccolini on its menu.
Beginning on January 18, customers can order the Superfood Side, made with a blend of hand-chopped kale and Broccolini, tossed in a sweet and tangy maple vinaigrette dressing and topped with flavorful dried sour cherries.
It is served with a blend of roasted nuts (walnuts, almonds and pecans) that enhances the flavor and provides added crunch.
Chick-Fil-A says the dish was created with Chef Ford Fry of Ford Fry Restaurants.
The side is $2.59 for a 5 oz. portion and $3.79 for an 8 oz. portion.
It can also be substituted in any combo meal for 94 cents.
