Death of man found on York street ruled as accidental

YORK, Pa. (WHTM) – An autopsy has revealed that a man found lying on a street in York died of multiple blunt force injuries.

According to the York County coroner’s office, William Seitz, 67, appeared to have been struck by a vehicle while walking near the 600 block of North Pershing Avenue Sunday night.

It happened not long after residents held an anti-violence rally in the area.

The York City Police Department is investigating.
