Recycle Your Christmas Tree

Between 25 and 30 million Christmas trees are cut each year in America. It takes an average of 4 – 7 years to grow a tree to the size required, and, although Christmas trees are a renewable resource, the fact remains that after a week or so, they are primarily discarded.

And although most communities have a recycling program, there is a way that you can extend the use of your tree – for wildlife.

By setting up your tree outside, you not only get extended use for your investment, you also get the satisfaction of helping the birds and enjoy watching their antics.
