Crews demolish building after “suspicious” fire in Lebanon

Officials have demolished a building in Lebanon after a fire Friday morning.

The fire two-alarm fire started around 3 a.m. at a vacant home on the 400 block of North 9th Street in Lebanon.

Officials say the fire weakened the building’s structure, causing safety concerns for residents, which is why the building was demolished.

According to officials, this was not the first fire at this address.

It is being investigated as a suspicious fire because the structure did not have electricity going into it.
