Emergency crews respond to small plane crash in Lebanon County

LEBANON, Pa. (WHTM) – Three people and a pilot were aboard a small plane when it came crashing down moments after takeoff Tuesday at the Deck Airport in Jackson, Township, Lebanon County.

According to an acquaintance, the passengers were a father and his two sons. All three were headed to southern Illinois.

The airport manager believes the Beechcraft single-engine plane went down at about 2,000 feet off the runway.

FAA officials are scheduled to visit the airport Wednesday to investigate.

All four injured in the crash have been taken to the hospital for treatment.
