York police looking for convenience store robber

YORK, Pa. (WHTM) – Police are asking for the public’s help to identify a man wanted for the robbery of a city convenience store and the attempted robbery of a gas station.

Police released surveillance photos of the man on Wednesday.

They said he robbed the Turkey Hill in the 100 block of South Richland Avenue on Thursday night and tried to rob the Exxon in the 1000 block of West Market Street on Tuesday night.

Authorities said he also was seen twice in the CVS on South Richland before the store robbery, but he left both times after waiting at the counter for a short period of time.
