Police seek tips in Springettsbury Township bank robbery

YORK, Pa. (WHTM) – Police are looking for the man who robbed a York County bank this afternoon.

Springettsbury Township police said the unknown man presented a handwritten note demanding money to a teller at the Santander Bank in the 1000 block of Haines Road around 3:12 p.m.

He fled after the teller handed over some money.

A surveillance photo released by police shows the robber was wearing a light-colored, long-sleeved button-down shirt, dark colored pants, and an orange ball cap.

Anyone who recognizes him is asked to call Springettsbury police at 717-505-0458.
