Man headed to trial for child sexual abuse

HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHTM) – A Carlisle man is headed to trial on charges he sexually abused a child in a Dauphin County home.

Nathan Fureman, 32, was ordered to court this week on charges of indecent assault, unlawful contact with a minor, and corruption of minors, according to court records.

A formal arraignment is scheduled Jan. 29.

Fureman also is awaiting trial for aggravated assault. In that case, authorities said he threw a flashlight at his girlfriend, hitting her in the head and causing her to fall and hit her head on the pavement. She sustained serious injuries.

He remains free on $25,000 unsecured bail.
