Police seek suspect in 3 armed store robberies

LANCASTER, Pa. (WHTM) – Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect in three armed robberies in the city.

Police on Tuesday released surveillance video from the Family Dollar at 420 N. Franklin St. and the Rite Aid at 835 E. Chestnut St.

They believe the same man robbed the Rite Aid at gunpoint on Dec. 1 and the Family Dollar on Nov. 28 and Nov. 30.

In each incident, the robber was armed with a black and silver handgun and wearing a black baseball cap and hoodie, black Nike sweatpants, and red and black sneakers with a white Nike swoosh.

No one was injured.

Lancaster Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of up to $1,000 for information that leads to an arrest.
