Police responded to 3031 S. Pine Grove Street in Fredericksburg, Pa. for an unresponsive male. Police say Cody Wolfe, 19, of Fredericksburg, gave synthetic marijuana to Dreisbach. The two smoked the drug around 11:30 p.m. on April 21, and Dreisbach later passed out as a result of smoking it, according to police.

Investigators say at some time on April 22, Peggy Wolfe, 47, of Fredericksburg, Pa., and Heather Frederick, 27, of Harrisburg, Pa., learned of the victim’s condition but did nothing. Dreisbach was passed out for about 36 hours before his mother called 9-1-1 after becoming aware of his condition.

Dreisbach was taken to the Good Samaritan Hospital in Lebanon and then flown to Lehigh Valley Hospital in Allentown due to the seriousness of his condition. He died in the hospital on April 30.

Cody Wolfe is charged with involuntary manslaughter, recklessly endangering another person, and tampering with or fabrication of physical evidence.

Both Peggy Wolfe and Heather Frederick are charged with recklessly endangering another person and possession of drug paraphernalia.
