LEBANON, Pa. (WHTM) – Police have charged three people for their alleged roles in the death of 19-year-old Jesse Dreisbach.
Dreisbach, of Jonestown, died in April after smoking synthetic marijuana, police said.
According to a news release, 19-year-old Cody Wolfe of Fredericksburg purchased the synthetic marijuana and provided it to Dreisbach. Cody has been charged with involuntary manslaughter, recklessly endangering another person, and tampering with or fabrication physical evidence.
Peggy Wolfe, 47, of Fredericksburg, and Heather Frederick, 27, of Harrisburg, have been charged with recklessly endangering another person and possession of drug paraphernalia. Police say both women knew Dreisbach lost consciousness but did not call police until about 36 hours later.
Dreisbach died at Lehigh Valley Hospital after spending a week in critical condition.
All three of the accused were committed to Lebanon County Correctional Facility; Cody on $250,000 bail and Peggy and Frederick on $50,000 bail.
