Pa. says no misconduct on Lower Paxton construction project

HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHTM) – The state Department of Labor and Industry says it found no evidence of misconduct at a Lower Paxton Township construction site.

The department had been investigating a complaint that no building permits were issued for a new magisterial district judge’s office and an expansion of the public works garage on Locust Lane.

The investigation found that, with the exception of a retaining wall, the work did not require a building permit, according to a department letter obtained by ABC 27 News.

The work on the retaining wall was stopped until a permit was issued.

The department said it considers the matter closed.
