Inspired by the popularity of fish tacos, we came up with a fish dip that’s sure to be a hit no matter where or when you serve it. Our party-tested Famous Fish Taco Dip has so much creamy bold flavor, it may just make you party-famous!
What You’ll Need:
12 ounces cream cheese, softened (1-1/2 packages)
1/2 cup sour cream
1 (1.25-ounce) package taco seasoning mix
2 pounds cooked and flaked catfish
1 cup fresh salsa
1 (2.25-ounce) can sliced black olives, drained
1/2 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
1/4 cup thinly sliced scallions
2 tablespoons sour cream
Nacho chips for dipping
What To Do:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. In a large bowl, combine cream cheese, sour cream, and taco seasoning mix; mix well. Add fish and gently stir until well combined. Spoon mixture into a 9-inch pie plate.
2. Bake 25 to 30 minutes, or until hot. Top evenly with salsa, olives, cheese, scallions, and a dollop of sour cream. Serve with nacho chips.
