MIDDLETOWN, Pa. — (WHTM) Three Mile Island will tests sirens at its nuclear plant today as part of required yearly testing.
If you hear sirens around lunch, do not be alarmed. TMI officials said testing of its siren system would begin at 12:15 p.m. Thursday. Officials said the government requires testing twice a year.
Officials with the Peach Bottom Nuclear Generating Station in Delta, York County said systems were tested Wednesday. All 97 sirens past testing which sounded off at 1 p.m. yesterday.
