Reward offered in Mountville, Strasburg robberies

STRASBURG, Pa. (WHTM) – Investigators have released new surveillance photos of the two men wanted for armed robberies in Mountville and Strasburg last week.

Lancaster City-County Crime Stoppers also announced a reward of up to $1,000 for information that leads to an arrest and conviction.

Police say the men were wearing masks and armed with handguns when they stole cash and cigarettes from the Strasburg Sunoco and the Turkey Hill convenience store in Mountville before crashing their getaway car in West Lampeter Township on the morning of Nov. 16.


Both fled the crash on foot.

A 23-year-old man was seriously burned when the car caught fire. Kervin Perales was released from Crozer Chester Medical Center on Friday.

He is charged with robbery and conspiracy for the incident at the gas station. He additionally is charged with fleeing police, reckless endangerment, and summary traffic violations.
