HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHTM) – A podiatric physician has been arrested on allegations he secretly videotaped co-workers in an employee restroom at his Lower Paxton Township office.
Dr. David Todoroff is charged with five misdemeanor counts of invasion of privacy, according to charging documents.
According to the criminal complaint, a co-worker found a cell phone last month in the employee restroom at Keystone Podiatric, at 6100 Jonestown Road. The recording phone had been placed inside a sock and shoe and propped up by an empty wallet.
Employees confronted Todoroff and he admitted to placing the cell phone in the restroom, township police said in the complaint. He surrendered the phone to his co-workers.
Todoroff, of Lower Paxton Township, admitted to a co-worker that he had been placing the phone in the employee restroom for the last few weeks, police said. He said he would look at the videos and then delete them.
Police confiscated Todoraff’s phone and laptop computers. Four videos on the phone were of partially nude co-workers in the restroom, according to the complaint.
The restroom is a restricted area with access only to employees, police said. Several women who worked in the office sometimes used it to change clothes.
Todoroff, 57, was arraigned Friday and released on $25,000 unsecured bail. A preliminary hearing is scheduled Jan. 5.
A PinnacleHealth spokeswoman said he is no longer a member of their medical staff.
