Doctor accused of sexual assaulting patients dies

(WHTM) – A Cumberland County doctor accused of drugging and sexually assaulting his patients has died.

Jay Cho, 71, of Hampden Township died died on Nov. 9 from clogged arteries, according to the coroner’s office.

He was ordered to trial on allegations he over-prescribed powerful painkillers to at least 10 female patients and then used their drug addictions to sexually assault them.

He was expected in court next week on charges including rape, aggravated indecent assault, drug delivery by a practitioner, and criminal use of a communication facility.
