Burned suspect charged in Mountville, Strasburg robberies

STRASBURG, Pa. (WHTM) – Police have arrested a Lancaster County man who was seriously burned in a car crash that followed armed store robberies in Mountville and Strasburg a week ago.

Kervin Perales, 23, is charged with robbery and conspiracy for the incident at the Strasburg Sunoco on the morning of Nov. 16. He additionally is charged with fleeing police, reckless endangerment, and summary traffic violations.

Perales was taken into custody Friday after his release from Crozer Chester Medical Center, according to the Lancaster County district attorney’s office. His bail was set at $125,000.

Police are still looking for two masked gunmen who stole cash and cigarettes from the gas station, and the Turkey Hill in Mountville an hour earlier, before crashing their getaway car on Millport Road in West Lampeter Township.
