Salvation Army kicks off kettle season in Lemoyne

LEMOYNE, Pa. (WHTM) – Ringing bells and red kettles have returned for the holiday season.

The Salvation Army of Harrisburg launched their annual kettle season Thursday at the Karns food store in Lemoyne.

One hundred percent of money collected this season will support over 1,000 local families and seniors during the holidays and throughout the year.

The charity wants to remind shoppers that if you don’t have cash you can still donate by texting KETTLEHBG to 41444.
