Man shot in buttock in Lancaster city

LANCASTER, Pa. (WHTM) – A 22-year-old man is recovering after being shot in the left hip/buttock Tuesday afternoon.

Police say it happened near Christian and Woodward streets in the city around 4:20 p.m.

Police say the victim, who has not been identified, had been fighting with another male subject when the male pulled out a handgun, firing several shots.

The suspect then reportedly fled in a green sedan.

Police say the suspect is described as a black male in his late teens, early twenties.

The victim’s injuries are not life-threatening. Police say he is not cooperating with the investigation.
