HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHTM) – A special Senate committee is deciding whether to recommend an obscure passage in the state constitution that calls for the direct removal of elected officials.
Does it apply in the case of Attorney General Kathleen Kane?
The committee is holding its second hearing today. It is hearing from constitutional experts.
Kane insists Article VI, Section 7 does not apply to her; that she can only be removed by impeachment which must begin in the House.
