Teen fatally struck in Cumberland County

NEWBURG, Pa. (WHTM) – A 17-year-old boy was fatally struck by a vehicle early Tuesday in Hopewell Township, Cumberland County.

Tristan M. Clark, of Newburg, was on the travel lanes of Route 641 when he was struck by a westbound vehicle, Coroner Charley Hall said in a news release.

Clark was pronounced dead at the scene of multiple traumatic injuries.

State police in Carlisle said the teen was struck just after 1 a.m.

Firefighters on the scene said he was thrown 10 to 20 feet into a pasture.
