York leaders to talk about proposed budget

YORK, Pa. (WHTM) – Leaders will discuss the city’s proposed budget for next year on Tuesday.

Council president Carol Hill-Evans said the major thing the city needs is tax stability; or no tax increase. She hopes a proposed tax decrease will be included in the budget.

They also need the state budget to help decrease property taxes.

ABC 27’s Samantha Galvez is working to find what other changes the city needs and what residents can expect in the proposed spending plan. Look for updates online and on air.
