Bench Dogs moving after South Londonderry fire

LEBANON, Pa. (WHTM) – A company that lost its Colebrook manufacturing plant to a fire last week says it will relocate to Lancaster County.

Bench Dogs had previously acquired a building in Denver. The company expects to finish renovations and move in during the week of November 23, according to a statement released Thursday.

“We’re working around the clock to recover from the loss and ready the new facility in Denver,” co-owner Bob Bunting said in the statement. “We’ve taken all measures
possible to ensure minimum disruption to our services.”

The company’s facility in South Londonderry Township was destroyed by fire November 5. Damage to the building, the former Acorn Design and Manufacturing plant, is expected to top $1 million.
