Parents in the Cumberland Valley School District can learn more about plans to build a new elementary and middle school Monday.

The planned new campus will be at Bali Hai and Lambs Gap Roads. Monday night, floor and site plans, proposed enrollments and a financial analysis will be presented.

The meetings are set for 5:30 and 6 p.m. at the district’s administrative office on the Carlisle Pike.

The board plans to vote on design development next month and release a request for bids in April.

This is part of the redistricting plan abc27 news has been reporting on for a while now.

Starting in the 2017-2018 school year, 80 students will move from Silver Spring to Monroe Elementary.

Then, when the new buildings open the following school year, students district-wide will be shuffled.
