WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP, Pa. (WHTM) – There is an ongoing investigation into an address mix-up that delayed emergency crews responding to a house fire in York County Saturday.
The house fire occurred along Bentz Mill Road in Washington Township Saturday morning just after 9:30.
The Wellsville Fire Chief told the York dispatch there was some confusion about the address.
Crews were originally sent to Manchester Township before receiving the correct address about 10 minutes later.
The chief says the county is trying to figure out what happened.
There were no reported injuries and the cause of the fire is under investigation but does not appear to be suspicious.
