LANCASTER, Pa. (WHTM) – An Elizabethtown woman will serve up to two years in prison for her sixth drunk driving conviction.
Amy E. Horn, 40, pleaded guilty in Lancaster County Court and was sentenced to 1-2 years imprisonment, plus a $2,500 fine and an 18-month suspension of her driver’s license, according to the district attorney’s office.
Authorities said five of Horn’s six DUI convictions involved a blood-alcohol content of more than .16 percent. Her record also includes several convictions for driving under suspension.
Her latest arrest in June came after police said she was visibly intoxicated and smelled of alcohol when she pulled up to a checkpoint in Quarryville. Testing showed her blood-alcohol level was .205 percent, more than twice the legal limit.
