Ephrata man gets 6-12 years for child sexual abuse

LANCASTER, Pa. (WHTM) – An Ephrata man will serve six to 12 years in state prison for sexually abusing two girls.

Warren Keperling, 37, was sentenced after he pleaded guilty Monday in Lancaster County court, according to the district attorney’s office.

His prison sentence will be followed by six years of probation, and he’ll have to register his address with state police for the rest of his life. He may have no unsupervised contact with children, and he must stay away from playgrounds and schools.

Authorities said Keperling forced the girls into sex acts at his homes in Elizabethtown, Manor Township and the Ephrata area beginning in 2008.
