PALMYRA, Pa. (WHTM) – A Lebanon County woman struck by a hit-and-run driver has died.

Lisa Thomas died Friday at Penn State Hershey Medical Center, according to a hospital spokeswoman and the Dauphin County coroner’s office.

Thomas, 52, of Palmyra, was struck October 21 in the 400 block of East Cherry Street.

Police said the driver who fled was in black 1999 Audi A4 sedan with a loud exhaust. They said the car probably has a damaged windshield and a deployed driver-side air bag, and it may have been hidden or stored somewhere in the Palmyra or Middletown areas.hit-run-21

Authorities are asking local garages and towing companies to check their logs to see if anyone has contacted them about working on a ’99 Audi during the last two weeks.

They have released a photograph of the suspected car and its driver from an officer’s dashboard camera.

Anyone who knows anything about the crash is asked to call the police department at 717-838-8188.
