Heavy rains cause flooding, roads closed in York, Lancaster and Lebanon Counties

Wednesday’s heavy rains caused flooding in some parts of the Midstate. Thursday morning, several roads remain closed, according to PennDOT.
In Rapho Township, Lancaster County, there is flooding on Kinderhook Road, Longenecker Road and Longnecker Road. Longnecker Road is closed in both directions between Pinkerton Road and Bridge Valley Road and also between Joy Avenue and Main Street.
Mount Pleasant Road, Hossler Road and West Risser Mill Road in Mount Joy Township, Lancaster County is also flooded. PennDOT says West Risser Mill Road is closed in both directions between Risser Mill Road and Risser Mill Road, all lanes are closed.
In Heidelberg Township, York County, Moulstown Road, Jacobs Mill Road and Smith Station Road have flooding.
Also in York County, Roth Church Road and Main Street is closed in both directions between Labott Road and Rockville Road. That’s in Jackson Township.
Finally, in South Londonderry Township, Lebanon County, PennDOT is reporting flooding on Lingle Avenue in both directions between Palmyra Road and Oakfield Lane. All lanes are closed.
