Child luring incident reported in Lebanon

LEBANON, Pa. (WHTM) – Police are searching for the man who tried to lure a 16-year-old girl Thursday evening near the area of 12th and Popular streets.

Police spoke with the teen who told them she was walking when a van slowly drove by and a man said “hey girl.”

Not long after, police say the girl was walking in the 1100 block of Jackson Blvd. when the same man walked behind her and
smacked and grabbed her buttocks.

Police say the man then walked away saying, “that was for rolling your eyes at me.”

The man is described as a Hispanic male in his 20’s with short dark hair, trimmed goatee, dark eyes and thick eyebrows.

The van he drove is reportedly an older white minivan with a large grey strip along the bottom.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Lebanon City Police Department at 717-272-6611.
