HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHTM) – A New York man will spend 19 years in a federal prison for robbing fast food restaurants in Cumberland, Dauphin and York counties.
Maurice Lebron Davis, 40, of Brooklyn, was sentenced on eight counts of robbery and attempted robbery.
Davis was found guilty in April on charges stemming from a three-month robbery spree between December 2011 and February 2012.
Prosecutors said he broke into two restaurants, the Chick-fil-A in Mechanicsburg and the Wendy’s in Camp Hill, and waited for employees to open the safes.
In other cases, he attacked employees in parking lots and forced them to let him inside.
