Lebanon home struck by shotgun blast

LEBANON, Pa. (WHTM) – A house was struck by pellets from a shotgun during an incident early this morning in the 500 block of Jones Street, city police said.

Police said they received a report of a fight from a caller who believed they head a single gunshot at around 2:46 a.m.

Responding officers spoke to a witness who reported hearing an argument. The witness said he saw two males struggling over what appeared to be some type of long gun that was about two feet long.

The gun discharged and the pair fled the area, the witness said.

The home had several small BB-sized holes in the siding along the roofline consistent with being struck with birdshot from a shotgun, police said in a news release.

The investigation is ongoing.

Anyone with information is asked to call Lebanon police at 717-272-6611.
