Bank robbery suspect facing additional charges

A Cumberland County man is now facing additional charges for a crime spree that included a high-speed police chase and multiple bank robberies.

Scott Tilden, 35, of Carlisle is already facing several charges for robbing a bank in Littlestown, Adams County and stealing a car at a gas station and then leading police on a chase to York, where he crashed into a home.

State Police say Tilden is now being charged with two more counts of bank robbery. Sources tell abc27, Tilden is accused of robbing the First National Bank of Mifflintown in Loysville, Perry County twice last month.

Tilden was arrested in 2013 for robbing a bank in Cumberland County. He pleaded guilty and got one to three years in prison.
