Man arrested for loaded gun at Harrisburg International Airport

MIDDLETOWN, Pa. (WHTM) – A 79-year-old man was arrested at Harrisburg International Airport after a loaded gun was found in his carry-on luggage, according to the Transportation Security Agency.

TSA officers spotted the handgun on Sunday as the luggage was screened at the checkpoint. The .38 caliber pistol was loaded with five rounds.

TSA immediately notified local police who responded to the checkpoint and arrested the passenger on a local charge.

He was not identified in a TSA news release.
