Caretaker admits to stealing from elderly woman

HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHTM) – A Dauphin County woman has admitted in court that she stole credit cards from an elderly woman while she was the victim’s caretaker.

Toni Fiore, of Lower Paxton Township, pleaded guilty to charges of access device fraud, identity theft, and theft by unlawful taking, according to the Dauphin County district attorney’s office.

Prosecutors said Fiore used the credit cards more than 15 times without the victim’s permission, and she signed the receipts as if she was the victim.
