Parking fees to increase for Farm Show and other events

HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHTM) – Parking fees will increase next year for the Pennsylvania Farm Show and other public events at the Farm Show Complex and Expo Center.

The Farm Show Commission voted to increase parking rates for the Farm Show from $10 to $15. Fees for all other public shows will go from $8 to $10, Department of Agriculture spokeswoman Brandi Hunter-Davenport said.

The increase is the first since 2010. The new rates begin in January.

Hunter-Davenport pointed out the Farm Show does not charge for admittance and provides a free shuttle service. She said parking fees go toward upgrades and ensuring that the facilities are safe and secure for visitors.
