Lancaster man wanted in stabbing

LANCASTER, Pa. (WHTM) – Police are looking for a 25-year-old city man in connection to a stabbing over the weekend.

Jose Antonio Colon has been charged with attempted homicide and a warrant has been issued for his arrest, police said in a news release Monday.

Police believe Colon stabbed one of two 19-year-old men who arrived at the Lancaster General Hospital emergency room at around 3 a.m. Saturday

The unidentified victim had a stab wound to his chest and a gunshot wound to his arm. The other man had a minor stab wound to his lower back.

The man stabbed in the chest has a very serious wound and underwent emergency surgery. Police said he is expected to survive.

Police said the men were stabbed after some type of verbal altercation, and several gunshots were fired as they fled.

The persons or persons who fired the gunshots have not been identified.
