Police investigate child luring attempt near Dillsburg

DILLSBURG, Pa. (WHTM) – Police in Carroll Township are investigating a report that an unknown man tried to lure two small children into his car Sunday afternoon.

Township police said the man stopped in the 100 block of Logan Road and waved the two children over to him, but drove away when he saw one child’s mother approaching his vehicle.

The incident occurred at around 3:15 p.m.

The car was said to be a burgundy 80’s or 90’s Buick four-door, with either white or gray primer paint or a sticker on the trunk. The driver was described as a white man with red hair and a beard, wearing a dark colored baseball hat, police said.

The Buick was last seen headed south on Logan Road toward Logan Park.
